Ana R Yang
Ana Yang, born in a 1998 winter, honor graduate from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Film and Television major with a minor in Media, Culture and Communications. Born in a filmmaker family, Ana has been creating since she was 5. Directed, written, participated in producing over 20 student films during college.
Her thesis One for Sorrow, Two for Joy, currently in the Festival circuit, won the Best Narrative Short and Best Editing award at LA Independent Woman Awards, and Best Narrative Short at LA Movie Awards. Documentary she directed, Vikki’s Garden, won Sight and Sound Showcase Award at Tisch School of the Arts. Her short film Maslow won LA CineFestival semi-finalist, and was selected into Art Exhibit “B-Side”at 393 Broadway, Manhattan. She was the assistant to the Oscar-winning director Ellen Goosenberg.
Ana wants to tell stories of old people, women, and children. She believes that filmmaking is the axe for the frozen sea inside of us.
Producer
Hongwei Wu
Hongwei Wu is an international producer who was born and raised in Guangzhou, China, and now splits her time between China and New York. Hongwei is a film creative producing MFA candidate at Columbia University.
She, as the producer, is awarded the 2022 Tribeca Through Her Lens grand prize with Wendi Tang, as the director, for their film Fishtank and received full production funding for their original short film. She has worked on more than 50 short films, including Tuo Tuo (2021, winner of Katharina Otto-Bernstein Production Grant), which has world premiered at the Taipei International Film Festival, The Last Flight (2021) which was the Jury honor and won the audience award at Columbia University Film Festival, and One for Sorrow, Two for Joy which has been selected by Austin Film Festival and St. Louis International Film Festival, and won the Best Narrative Short at Independent Woman Awards and Best Short at LA Movie Awards. For Hongwei, creating art is a lifelong exploration and she takes enormous pleasure in the collaborative creative process that making great international cinema requires.

Kelsey Zhu
Kelsey Zhu is a LA-based cinematographer. Her work has been shown in Cannes Indie Shorts, LA Independent Women Film Awards, Top Shorts and other film festivals worldwide. She currently focuses on narrative filmmaking, as well as commercials and documentary film projects. Kelsey graduated from Chapman University MFA in Cinematography, and her thesis film Paz was nominated by ASC Heritage Award for Best Cinematography. Her visual asthetic is deeply inspired by traditional Chinese Shan Shui painting, and she excels at utilizing bold and minimalistic elements to challenge and expand viewer’s imagination beyond the boundary of camera frame. While she’s not hanging out with cameras, Kelsey enjoys playing with her calico cat Blueberry and competing in tennis tournaments. She is also an associate member of Society of Camera Operators.
